Believes
In our network, we deeply respect the diverse theological perspectives and denominational heritages of each church. We have strategically designed our partnerships to catalyze movements of churches that reproduce in the name of Jesus, without hindering progress with disputes and debates over secondary doctrinal issues. Our philosophy is to tear down walls and build bridges. Overall, we avoid taking stances on most theological and ecclesiological issues to minimize barriers, highly valuing the mission and diversity.
Our core philosophy is based on simple yet powerful principles, which we call our 'Basic Belief of Our Faith.' For us, the network's ideology is built on the theological foundation that Jesus is Lord. Additionally, we align ourselves around historic statements, such as the Apostles' Creed.
Ultimately, we align around Jesus' Mission (Acts 1:8). We want to obey the Lord and 'go' to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28), to love the Lord and others, thus fulfilling the Great Commandment (Mark 12), and to 'go' together to fulfill the Great Collaboration (John 17), not around detailed doctrinal statements or denominational lines. We believe that this simplicity facilitates reproduction and allows us to have a greater impact in God's Kingdom.
Scriptures: We believe that the Bible has been inspired by God, and we also believe in its infallibility and authority (2 Timothy 3:15-16). J
Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God along with the Father and the Holy Spirit (1 Timothy 3:16). We believe that Jesus was miraculously born of the Virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18-24). We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21; 2 Timothy 3:15-16). We believe in one Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5).
Resurrection: We believe that Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day (John 19:14-20; 20:19-20).
Spiritual Gifts: We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that they continue to operate in the church today (1 Corinthians 12:1-11; Romans 11:29).
Second Coming: We believe that Jesus ascended to heaven and will return to establish His eternal Kingdom (Acts 1:9-11; Matthew 25:31; Revelation 20:4-6).
Trinidad: We believe in the existence of only one true God, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 32:39; Matt. 28:19; Gen. 5:7; John 1:1-4)
Salvation: We believe in the absolute Lordship of Jesus Christ and in faith in Him as the only way for a person to be saved and enter heaven. (Dan. 7:13-14; Col. 1:13-18) We believe that people are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the Lord. (John 14:6; Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:8-9)
Holy Spirit: We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit that enables a believer to live a holy life. (2 Peter 1:2-4; 1 John 3:4-6, 9; Gal. 5:16) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that it can be a separate experience from salvation itself. (Acts 8:14-17; Acts 10:44-48)
Eternal Life: We believe in eternal life for those who are saved and in eternal condemnation for the lost. (1 John 2:24-25; Rev. 20:15; Rev. 14:10-11) We believe that heaven and hell are real places. (2 Corinthians 12:1-4; Rev. 4:1-2; Mark 9:42-48; Rev. 20:11-15)
